David Coker

David has read Architecture Technology at South Bank University. With over 13 years experience working with those from infancy to adulthood around the area of development, David has gained comprehensive knowledge working in a diverse setting which has heightened his understanding of the tools required to enable the people that he works with to maximise the potential to succeed in their chosen field

David has delivered training for both the public and private sector, he gained much of his experiences working in play/youth work for many years in the borough of Islington & Barnet. He has worked as facilitator and tutor delivering accredited and non-accredited courses for Acton & Harrow College.

Martin Finegan

Martin has an LLB in Law. He is a Director of Ethos Consultancy UK Ltd, a company that designs personal effectiveness programmes for young people. He has spent the last 14-years gaining extensive academic and practice experience in the development of young people that has enabled him to initiate, cultivate and execute strategies that facilitate the social and personal development of adolescents and young adults nationally.

As directors, David and Martin have experiences of business planning, creating and monitoring policy and practice, evaluating the effectiveness of programmes delivered, whilst also creating safe and nurturing learning environments for young people. With a back ground beginning in play and youth work, David and Martin have limitless experience in working with young people in a variety of contexts and settings including:

• Delivering management and leadership development programmes to undergraduates, academic learners and young people from social & economically deprived background
• Delivery of motivational sessions with disengaged students in Pupil Referral Unit’s
• Residential care, working together with young people’s family support network, including foster careers, local authority professionals and significant others
• Management and implementation of care plans for looked after children along with other residential duties
• Co-ordination of music, art, football and social development miniature projects
• Facilitating youth led forums on subjects as diverse as sport coaching, faith and religion, race and gender issues.
